It's a Wrap! PackExpo 2024

Posted by Theresa Hoffman on Nov 14th 2024

ProcessExpo, AHR, Automate, IMTS... and now, PackExpo: we've added another trade show to our growing list!

Once again, the Wolf Pack was out in full force, making a loud presence at the show!

Thank you to all of our vendors for spending valuable time with us. We're excited to see newly released products and hear about company updates. We'll use all of the knowledge we gained from the show to serve our customers with the best service.

Euchner

Euchner is set to introduce the CTS Series with FlexFunction. I met up with Matthew Clark, Euchner's Director of Sales, who provided insights into this upcoming release. This compact, quick-troubleshooting safety switch is designed for Industry 4.0 applications and can communicate with higher-level systems.

While on the hunt for products we sell, we came across Euchner NP1 safety switches on a customizable filling system machine. The machine fills, labels, picks and places bottles.

Lutze

Featured at the Lutze booth were the newly released LOCC-Box electrical circuit breakers, which we first saw at IMTS. We spent some time chatting with Jack Sturm, Lutze Regional Sales Manager, about company updates. We learned that there will be more new product releases in 2025, but for now, we'd like to highlight their extensive line of VFD cable, available in custom lengths with fast delivery!

Lenze

We couldn't help but notice Lenze drives everywhere at the show! By the time we reached the Lenze booth, we were already boasting about how many we'd seen. Meeting with Lenze Application Engineer, Bryan Botts, we weren't surprised to hear how popular their products are. In their booth, Lenze showcased a drive setup with their upcoming HMI product release.

Baumer

Their logo, "Baumer: Passion for Sensors," certainly lived up to its promise. Their booth was so packed with sensors, we didn't know where to start. Eventually, we connected with Dave Rice, Baumer's Regional Sales Director, who showcased some of their popular products.

The OE40 sensor impressed us with its exceptional precision for edge measurement on both opaque and transparent objects. We then moved on to the IDC200 multicode reader, which is designed to read and verify barcodes.

Leuze

We were mesmerized by the display on the monitor at the front of the Leuze booth. Jake Flynn, Leuze Regional Sales Manager, explained that we were looking at the IVS 1048i and DCR 1048i vision sensors.

Both are capable of 1D and 2D code reading, but the DCR 1048i is specifically designed for code reading, while the IVS 1048i is better suited for measurement, counting, identification, and inspection tasks.

Autonics

Autonics always knows how to have fun! We loved their "May the Voltz Be with You" promotion for their safety light curtains. As usual, we had a blast posing with D-Way, Autonics Regional Sales Manager, and Kassandra Sandoval, Autonics Marketing Specialist. After our lightsaber battle photo with D-Way, we sat down to catch up on the latest company news. It's always a pleasure spending time with our friends at Autonics.

Altech

Earlier this year, we met with Altech at the HVACR show and scheduled a training session to learn about their new products. Unfortunately, we weren't able to do that this time. However, we did learn that Katko is releasing a new disconnect switch. Stay tuned for more details!
