Description
The Sprecher + Schuh PCE hydraulic elevator softstarter is a solid-state controller for the motors that drive hydraulic elevators and escalators. A stepless ramp from zero to full speed reduces current surges on weak electrical systems and lowers starting torque on the hydraulic system, helping meet codes that require reduced-voltage starting without the voltage and current spikes of electromechanical Wye-Delta starters.

- For standard three-phase squirrel-cage induction motors, including 3 or 9 lead and 6 or 12 lead Wye-Delta motors
- Line or inside-the-delta control
- 200-600VAC three-phase supply
- Built-in selectable Class 10, 15, or 20 overload relay with manual or automatic reset
- SCR bypass on all three phases
- DIP switch setup and LED fault diagnostics
- Fault and auxiliary NO relay contacts; one additional auxiliary contact block mounts on the right side
- Rated 80 starts per hour at 50% duty cycle (160 calls per hour) for hydraulic elevator duty
- Operating temperature 0 to 50°C (32 to 122°F) open
