The IANF2 controllers offer two independent motion control axes that function in open loop configuration (or in closed loop using the available encoder feedback). Each axis can drive a stepper or a servo with step/direction input capability! The ANF2 can synchronize its two axes allowing you to control linear and circular motions in an XY plane.
AMCI-IDEC IANF2 expansion modules allow you to easily interface up to 12 motion axes using a single network connection which reduces physical wiring and streamlines network traffic.

Our IDEC by AMCI product line includes controllers, stepper motors, a combo controller+drive, a combo drive+steper motor and the 3-in-1 controller+drive+stepper motor.
- Controller (IANF2) - a 2-axis motion controller that is expandable up to 12 axes. It can accept encoder feedback which provides stall detection and move verification. The controller includes 6 discrete inputs and 4 discrete outputs.
- Drive + Controller (IANG1) - the integrated stepper controller + drive combo is a new approach to PLC-based motion control systems! This system can be expanded up to 6 axes.
- Stepper Motor (ISM2340) - Available in standard NEMA 23 frame sizes with output torque rating of 130 and 240 oz-in.
- Stepper Motor + Drive (ISMD23) - This motor-drive combo can control one to six axes of motion plus it combines the features of the two-axes controller and the drive into a single unit!
- Stepper Motor + Drive + Controller (ISMD23E) - Gives you all-in-one-motion control with all the features of the two-axis controller, drive and stepper motor.
