Description
The Lenze i550 protec decentralized frequency inverter uses the same proven technology as the Lenze i550 cabinet drive in a more protective housing designed for mounting close to the motor. It is well suited to modular machines and installations with limited control cabinet space, including conveyor, traveling, winding, and hoist drives, extruders, packaging machines, pumps, and fans. Extension box versions allow a disconnect switch and operating elements to be mounted right at the drive.

- Models for 1-phase 120V and 230V supplies and 3-phase 230V, 400V, 480V, and 600V supplies
- Offered in NEMA 1 (IP31) and NEMA 4X (IP66) housing versions
- Standard I/O with 5 digital inputs, 1 digital output, 2 analog inputs, 1 analog output, and 1 NO/NC relay, plus DC bus connection and motor temperature monitoring
- Network options include CANopen, EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, IO-Link V1.1, Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, and PROFINET
- Integrated micro USB diagnostic interface for service
- Versions with or without repair switch, with keypad or WLAN module for easy commissioning
- Optional Safe Torque Off (STO) rated SIL 3 (EN IEC 61508) and Performance Level e (EN ISO 13849-1)
