Description
The Hammond Power Solutions Centurion D1 dV/dT filter is designed for use between variable frequency drives (VFDs) and motors when long cable lengths are used. It combines an inductor and parallel resistor network to mitigate high-frequency ringing and voltage spikes between the VFD and motor, protecting both the motor windings and the cable that powers it from reflected-wave voltage buildup.
