Title: Really like this line of VFDs!
My lathe was not usable before I got the VFD as the inrush current to start the 7.5hp motor was so high it was going to damage the motor/generator set I built to have 3 phase in the shop. The voltage at the generator dropped from 240v down to 98v when I tried to start the motor. NOW, with this VFD, I put a voltage meter on the generator as well as an ammeter and the voltage never dropped a bit, plus, the ammeter kept at less than 10 amperes. Now I can start and stop my lathe as much as I need to for my tasks. THANK YOU!!
