Description
The Sprecher + Schuh PCS softstarter is a compact, intelligent motor controller for reducing starting current and mechanical stress on three-phase motors. It offers selectable soft-start modes plus a soft-stop mode for controlled deceleration, and includes a built-in electronic overload and SCR bypass. Typical applications include compressors, fans, lifts, chillers, and conveyors.

- 200-600VAC three-phase motor supply
- 100-240VAC control voltage (24VAC/DC control versions available separately)
- Soft start with kickstart, current limit starting, and soft stop modes
- Built-in electronic overload with selectable trip class OFF, 10, 15, or 20 and manual or automatic reset
- Bypass contactor on each phase removes the load from the SCRs once the motor is up to speed
- Line or inside-the-delta (3-wire or 6-wire) motor connection selected by DIP switch; Wye-Delta compatible
- Digital rotary switches for quick setup
- LED fault indication for overload, overtemperature, phase reversal, phase loss/open load, phase imbalance, and shorted SCR
- Internal NO auxiliary contact; additional 1 or 2-pole auxiliary contacts snap on the right side
- Push-to-test function for checking fault conditions
