The Euchner STP safety switch with guard locking is based on the plastic-encapsulated TP but adds a metal actuating head and internal metal cam for applications that require high locking forces of up to 2,500 N. It uses a switching element with four contacts in various combinations of positively driven and NO contacts, and dual-channel wiring for the maximum possible safety level is possible on all variants. Its switching contacts can switch a minimum current of 1 mA, so it is also suitable for use with safe control systems.
