Description
The Euchner MGB2 Classic multifunctional gate box provides guard locking for safety doors on machines and systems, wired directly to the control system rather than through a fieldbus. Its evaluation module is configured with DIP switches to operate as an MGB2-BP individual device or as an MGB2-BR device for series connection. On guard locking versions, guard lock monitoring can be switched on or off, and release monitoring can signal when the auxiliary or escape release has been actuated.

- Direct connection to a control system without a bus module
- Evaluation module configurable by DIP switches to behave as an MGB2-BP or MGB2-BR device
- Series connection in a BR switch chain when configured as BR
- Operating voltage 24 V DC, reverse polarity protected; short circuit-proof safety outputs
- Door stop can be changed from right to left at any time
- Connection submodules available with M20 x 1.5 cable entry, M12 or M23 plug connector
- Used with MGB2-H handle modules; MSM submodules add E-stop, pushbuttons and other control elements
