The Euchner MGB2 Classic multifunctional gate box provides guard locking for safety doors on machines and systems, wired directly to the control system rather than through a fieldbus. Its evaluation module is configured with DIP switches to operate as an MGB2-BP individual device or as an MGB2-BR device for series connection. On guard locking versions, guard lock monitoring can be switched on or off, and release monitoring can signal when the auxiliary or escape release has been actuated.
