Description
The Teco-Westinghouse WPI Low Voltage High Thrust w/P Base series is a high-thrust, vertical hollow-shaft pump motor built on a "P" base for direct-coupled vertical turbine and centrifugal pump applications, in a Weather Protected Type I (WPI) enclosure suited to outdoor or partially protected installations.

- Three phase, 60 Hz, 1.15 continuous service factor on sine wave power; inverter duty (PWM) rated per NEMA MG-1, Part 31, at 1.0 service factor
- Vertical hollow-shaft design on a "P" base, built for high-thrust pump loads
- Oversized main conduit box, rotatable in 90-degree increments, fully gasketed with NPT threaded entrance
- Class F insulation with phenolic alkyd resin varnish
- Designed for 3,300 ft elevation
- Dual-frequency nameplate as standard (60/50 Hz), with 190/380V, 1.0 SF data at 50 Hz
- Optional 175% high-thrust capability on 444–449TP frames
