Full wave rectifier that produces DC voltage from an AC input, with built in arc suppression and peak voltage voltage protection to help protect an electrical installations contacts and switches.
Internal components are encapsulated in plastic which give you high temperature and vibration resistance.
For AC side switching apply an AC voltage across the rectifier and the brake will release, the brake is wired in parallel with the motor.
When faster brake action is required the brake should be switched across the DC side of the rectifier. For even faster switching cycles, an external varistor can be connected in parallel with the brake or terminals of the rectifier.
