Our Carlo Gavazzi CD34 series is a capacitive sensor that is designed to detect water-based liquids through non metallic walls like plastic or glass.
These sensors will automatically account for the thickness of the wall plus compensate for any films, foam or moisture accumulated!
Universal mounting brackets make it easy to mount on different tubes or containers in a variety of ways. The sensor will function out of the box in most applications and teach-in capabilities are available for adapting the sensor to more challenging applications.
This sensor can be used to detect things such as water, syrup, milk, blood, honey, acid or alkaline solutions (as high as 50mS/cm).
The CD34 is IP69K and ECOLAB-certified as well as IP65, IP66, IP67 and IP68! This sensor can withstand steam and high-pressure cleaning as well as being resistant to cleansing agents and disinfecting chemcials.
