Description

Non-Intrusive Level Sensor
The TL400-I is a non-intrusive level and volume sensor that is ideal for detecting liquids, grains, fluids and bulk solids in static or moving applications.

With a low-power laser beam, it performs several measurements per second while an advanced algorithm calculates not only the exact level, but also convert to volume and distance in several units.

It can be parameterized by a configurator app via Bluetooth. With this feature is possible to save customized points and get accurate measurement even in irregular tanks.

Setting up without the need for cables 

These capabilities alone are already a big difference in this non-intrusive level sensor. But the TL400-I still has an almost unprecedented feature: there is no need for cables for its configuration. This non-intrusive level sensor features Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) communication for configuration. Therefore, it can be configured using the NOVUS SigNow software, which has a mobile version, enabling configuration and data reading with a mobile phone. 

  • Bluetooth technology allows the TL-400-I to be configured without the need to be close to the location where it is installed, facilitating handling in cases where the sensor is in a difficult to access location. In the case of irregular tanks, the settings allow customization of up to 20 points, making it possible to linearize the level of any type of reservoir.
