The Hammond Power Solutions 3A Series is a 3-coil motor starting autotransformer designed to reduce inrush current by stepping down applied voltage during motor start-up, for medium-duty applications such as pumps, compressors, conveyors, and fans. The 3-coil, three-phase Wye configuration provides balanced voltage across each phase.
