The Schmersal AZM40 is a compact, non-contact RFID solenoid interlock switch for monitoring and locking movable machine guards such as hinged or sliding doors. Its flat, low-profile housing mounts directly to 40mm profile systems, and RFID coding provides tamper resistance without the wear of a mechanical actuator. The actuator can approach the switch anywhere within a 180 degree angle, simplifying alignment on rotating or sliding guards.
