Description

The Schmersal EX-R command and signalling devices bring familiar 22mm pushbuttons, selector switches, mushroom buttons, an E-Stop, and indicator lights to explosion-protected control panels. The series is designed for gas Zones 1 and 2 and dust Zones 21 and 22, and every operator ships with its mounting flange and contact carrier so it can be configured with EX-RF contact elements and, for illuminated versions, the EX-RLDEWS24 LED element. EX-R devices pair with Schmersal EX-EBG stainless steel assembly housings for complete Ex control stations.

  • Indicator lights with protruding high-dome lens for LED illumination
  • Stainless steel (V4A) marking plate with brass, stainless steel, or aluminum front ring depending on type
  • 4mm actuating stroke; B10D of 100,000 operations (NC) and 20-year mission time to EN ISO 13849-1
