The EtherNet/IP version of the MGB system allows safety and diagnostic communication over an industrial Ethernet network using the CIP Safety protocol. Integrated switching functionality supports network connectivity while reducing wiring requirements in automation systems. The multifunctional design allows different control elements and safety functions to be integrated, including interlocking, guard locking, emergency stop devices, selector switches, and pushbuttons. Diagnostic information can be transmitted through EtherNet/IP messages, helping operators quickly identify device status and system conditions. Parameter settings can also be configured so that system replacement or maintenance can be completed quickly during service.
