EUCHNER MGB-PN Series multifunctional gate boxes are safety door interlocking and guard locking systems designed to protect safety doors on industrial machines and automated installations. The MGB system combines a door handle, bolt mechanism, and safety locking technology into one integrated device, helping ensure that machine access points remain secured while hazardous motion is present. This multifunctional design simplifies machine guarding by combining several safety and operator interface functions into a single modular system.

The MGB-PN Series integrates PROFINET communication with PROFIsafe safety functionality, allowing the safety system to communicate directly with compatible industrial controllers over the network. An integrated PROFINET RT switch supports point-to-point network topologies and simplifies machine wiring by enabling communication between devices within the automation network. Diagnostic information can be transmitted through PROFINET messages, helping operators and maintenance personnel quickly identify system status and troubleshooting information during operation.
