The Leuze LBK Series is a three dimensional safety radar system designed for reliable area monitoring and restart protection in harsh industrial environments. Unlike optical safety devices, the LBK Series remains fully functional in the presence of dust, smoke, sawdust, oil mist, humidity and variable lighting. Its radar based detection allows flexible protected area design, supports stationary and moving personnel detection and avoids unnecessary shutdowns caused by static objects such as pallets or containers. A single controller can manage up to six sensors and offers integration through PROFIsafe, FSoE or CIP Safety for fast commissioning and detailed system diagnostics.
