The Idec MicroSmart FC6A series is a powerful PLC with up to 520 digital I/O and 126 analog I/o. This series gives you the power of a programmable automation controller (PAC) in a low-cost controller.

Please note that the software is not included, you can purchase the software #SW1A-W1C here.

You can add up to 4 expansion modules to the 16 I/O model (C16) and up to 15 expansion modules can be added to both the 24 (C24) and 40 (C40) models.

This means the 40 I/O MicroSmart PLC is capable of handling up to 520 I/O wiht a maximum of 126 analog I/O... much more than your typical PLC.

The 40 I/O models also have the option of CAN J1939 (EJ suffix) protocols which is often used in diesel engine applications for various types of vehicles and mobile power generators.
