Novus Automation was established in 1982 as a Brazilian manufacturer of controllers and data acquisition instrumentation.
With their headquarters in south Brazil, Novus maintains branch offices throughout the South American continent, North America and Hong Kong. The company also features an independent network of 34 independent representatives in 56 different countries. With a focus in environmental awareness and social responsibility, Novus prides itself in expanding its influence in high precision assembly equipment and affiliated industries.
The company regularly imports highly desirable electronic components from the US, Japan, UK, Germany, Hong Kong Singapore, Taiwan, to name a few; and in turn ships their completed products back to those same markets as well as: Mexico, France, Denmark, Israel, Holland, Belgium, Portugal, South Africa, Australia, Canada.
Through the years Novus has won many distinctive awards, such as their 1994 “Industrial Distinction Award”. Nominated for their N2000 Series universal microprocessor based controller which, at the time, had a cutting edge design with both universal inputs/outputs, accepted any sensor and driving any industrial actuator. With this all being selected by software it was truly innovative for its time.
In ’95 they were awarded “Entrepreneur Talent Award” by the Brazil federal government, while in 2013 and 2014 Novus received the “RS Export Award” in the “Market Diversification” division.
Today NOVUS Automation is still developing and producing innovative data acquisition and data logger products, including controllers, temperature/humidity/pressure transmitters, wireless systems, signal conditioners.
