Rain, rain, go away…come again some other day!
The new song residents of Algonquin, and most of Northern Illinois, seems to be singing lately. If you are just tuning into the news for the first time in almost two weeks, you may just be hearing how the Midwest has been inundated with historic amounts of rain.
With the local dam maxed out and even more water from the North making its way to us, there seems to be little relief for our local and neighboring counties. Marshall Wolf Automation has luckily not yet been affected by the flooding though we can actually see the overflowing Fox River for the first time from our office.
Our very own Jon Wolf has been keeping himself occupied by recording the impressive force of Mother Nature while trying to help the locals sandbag their properties before the river crested.
Apparently Jonny has become a bit of a celebrity (or at least his pictures are viral) and we’ve been catching his name all the way from local stations to even the Weather Channel. Way to go Jonny, you and your “aerial cinematography rig” (otherwise known as a drone with a fancy camera) took some remarkable footage!
Visual thinker in a digital spectrum, or in layman’s terms….I make all the visual content for Marshall Wolf Automation 🙂 With a background in video advertisement and film production, I work with MWA’s marketing department to keep our customers reading our blogs and viewing our products.
