Both series are compact and easy to operate with a built-in bypass function and conformal coating. Available from 18 to 200 amp and in either 200-440VAC or 200-575VAC mains voltage and DIN rail mountable up to 60 amp.
If your application requires a soft starter with motor protection our GE Industrial Solutions ASTAT XBm series is a great choice. This series is a constant current system with current measurement and control. These soft starters provide a range of motor protection functions plus soft start and soft stop. Motor protections include motor overload, phase loss and excess start time plus a programmable relay.

Accessories for the XB and XBm soft starters include a remote operator, remote control panel, communication modules and IP20 protection kit.
Soft starters protect your AC motors by limiting the large initial inrush of current at motor start up. Soft starters gently ramp up to full speed and, for some models, back to stop.
