Designed for controlling squirrel cage three-phase induction motors the new Weg CFW700 is a general purpose variable frequency drive that gives customers the flexibility needed for the control of applications ranging from simple speed control to more demanding ones as torque control.

The Weg CFW700 features Sensorless and Closed loop control as a standard feature (factory built) as well as built-in PID controllers that can be programmed in engineering units for easy set up. Another outstanding characteristic is the internal micro PLC (SoftPLC factory built) which allows for additional flexibility for developing application that require ladder programming eliminating the need for additional PLC units and configuration.

The new Weg CFW700 was designed based on the plug and play technology concept; when you plug in expansion module hardware; the software recognize it automatically.The drive also features an integrated power supply to be used with external transducers to measure flow or pressure. These features combined with the drive’s keypad based start up guide, make installation and parameter set up fast and easy.
