The Recora Neptune NF-2 Foot Switch is ideal for actuating machinery, doors, and alarms with the touch of a foot, these pliable molded vinyl mats have an overall size of just 6" x 8" and are 3/8" thick. Recora Neptune NF-2 Foot Switches have a corrugated surface, switch one circuit from "off" to "on" (SPST-NO), and spring back (momentary). Both have a 15 ft. cord with two 18 AWG wire leads. Recora Neptune NF-2 Foot Switch leads are single 18 AWG 2-conductor wire.Safeguard NF-2-SG helps protect against accidental triggering of the Neptune NF-2 footswitch by an operator or other personnel. This sheet metal guard, which measures 6" x 6" x 8" is designed to encase the footswitch while providing plenty of room for an operator, even with a steel toed shoe to activate. The 10-15 lb. sensitivity of the Neptune Footswitch makes it ideal wherever foot controls are needed to actuate machines, doors or alarms. No mounting is necessary; just lay it down on any reasonably smooth surface, connect it to the power source and the Neptune Footswitch is ready. Molded of tough, pliable vinyl, this versatile footswitch is only 3/8" thick...yet able to withstand thousands of pounds of pressure on the entire electrode surface without damage. The Neptune Footswitch is unaffected by water, extreme temperature changes and most common chemicals. There are no bearings or springs to wear out...no burned or worn out contacts.
