IDEAL developed this series to provide electricians with all the features they need for measuring in 1000A environments and industrial settings. The unique backlit display in the bottom of the clamp is an industry first. It enables an electrician to view measurement results in dark, bright or tight locations without difficulty or safety risk.

Electricians have a choice between the 61-772 for testing large AC current, or the 61-774 for AC/DC testing capabilities. Both are True RMS and feature large 2-inch jaws for getting around multiple phase conductors

For everything from routine current measurements to troubleshooting industrial motors and adjustable speed drives (ASDs), three 760 Series meters cover every scenario up to 660A. With an exclusive backlit TightSight™ display, the 760 Series brings function and ease-of-use together.

The 61-764 is great for basic current measurements, but also has an array of more extensive features like a bold, bright backlit display and selectable auto power off. With added capabilities like True RMS and 20-400Hz frequency measurement, the 61-766 gives electricians a level of certainty when measuring circuits with ASDs. And for those who work with DC motors and circuits, the 61-768 is the right choice
