Circuit protectors offer circuit protection, which is far superior to fuses, in applications containing relay circuits, motors, heaters, transformers, solenoids and semiconductors..

IDEC's original Spring-up Terminals and Cover Provide IP20 Fingersafe Protection.

We call it the “Fuse Killer” for a reason! Perfect for panel builders, OEMs and MROs in need of circuit protection, NC1V circuit breakers are the answer to any customer looking to replace fuses and fuse blocks.

NC1V circuit breakers have a modern look and feel, while providing enhanced reliability and safety. This series provides superior protection for a wide range of devices from sensitive electronic equipment to semi-conductor manufacturing equipment, machine tools, office equipment and more. Plus spring-up terminals and IP20 fingersafe protection are designed to reduce wiring time and increase safety.

Slim 35mm-wide housing saves space and can be DIN rail mounted or attached directly to the panel. NC1V are also available in 1-pole, 2-pole and 3-pole configurations. A retractable actuator makes it easy to determine the status of the circuit breaker.

Accessories include through-panel mounting brackets, wiring clips and marking plate holders. A unique padlock attachment is also available to lock out the breaker from being reset. All NC1V circuit breakers are CE marked, CSA certified and UL recognized.

NC1V circuit breakers employ an electromagnetic tripping system, where the rated current (trip current) is not affected by ambient temperatures. But the time delay may vary with the oil viscosity in the oil dash pot. Lower oil viscosity at higher temperatures results in a shorter delay, whereas at lower temperatures the delay will be longer.
