Carlo Gavazzi is proud to launch the GUARDIAN – the world’s first stand-alone vision-based overhead sensor for pedestrian sliding doors. It utilizes a CMOS camera, allowing it to detect both motion and presence, unlike traditional radar or photoelectric sensors. Additionally, the CMOS based camera offers high resolution and a 1/4" wide angle lens, providing the greatest sensing zone flexibility.

The GUARDIAN replaces the combination of traditional door radar sensors and photoelectric sensors, with one simple yet advanced unit. With UL325, cURus, CE, and TUV approvals, you are assured that the GUARDIAN is a high quality and safe device, which will set the standard for door sensors.

Motion and presence detector in one!

It operates with a motion zone and a presence zone. In the motion zone only moving objects are detected while both moving and static objects are detected in the presence zone.
