| The DDLS 78 series has a protection rating of IP 65. It is used to transmit data in situations wires can't be
run because of moving parts. Standard TTY interface with an optional plug-in modules for RS-232, RS-422 and
RS-485 is available. Data is transmitted with modulated invisible infrared light or visible red light. The
housing is made of die-cast aluminum making it a very durable device
