The innovative new Attabox Heartland Series Industrial Enclosures, available with UL certification improves end-use functionality and structural durability while remaining cost competitive. Key enhancements include: internal integrated channel mounting system, flush-fit swing panel (patent pending), DIN rail mounting system, grid of bosses, reinforced side walls, and high impact polycarbonate resin. The Heartland Series internal integrated channel mounting system reduces modification cost, improves space utilization, and maintains the environmental ratings. Attabox has developed solutions for installing DIN rail, equipment, side-panels, and sub-panels. Installing more within less space lowers the cost of the specified enclosures. Environmental integrity is maintained with the internal mounting system, while past solutions required wall penetrations. The risk avoided by not drilling holes through the wall eliminates the potential damage from water and dirt. The sub-panel system (patent pending) provides for a robust variable height multi-directional swing panel. The Heartland Series Panel System is design to be functional at most depths within the enclosure. It can function as a stationary dead front or it can be opened from all directions. Panels are available in aluminum, ABS, and polycarbonate. The DIN rail, equipment and side-panel mounting systems all share a common fastening slot nut. With the specially designed fastener, users can securely mount devices on the side wall without having to penetrate the surface. The grid of engineered bosses provides for many mounting configurations removing, at times, the need for expensive panel systems. The reinforced side walls and high impact strength genuine Lexan polycarbonate provide for a robust enclosure not available in the fiberglass, nylon or other PC manufactures. April 2012 Attabox is proud to announce that we recently achieved the IP68 rating. This advanced rating, in addition to the UL/cUL 508A and 50e, is further proof that our enclosures are well suited for the harshest environments. An IP68 rating means the enclosure provides effective protection from continuous water immersion, dust penetration and leakage from high pressure water jets or heavy seas. The Attabox IP68 enclosures are available in the following sizes: 6x6x4, 8x6x4, 10x8x4, 12x10x6, 14x12x6, 16x14x8, and 18x16x10. |
